This is me with my friend Grace Shula. She's twice as old as me; she was born eight days before me.
Grace's big brother Scott.

Weekend Activities
I got to meet my "Aunt" Lexi and "Uncle" Jeff today. They are going to have one of me in a few weeks; we'll probably be best friends.
Today I got my first piece of mail. It didn't look interesting, so I let mommy and daddy read it.
Now that my umbilical cord fell off, I can wear different clothes. Mommy let me wear pants and a sweater.
Tomorrow is going to be a big day meeting more of my family. I might go to church in the morning too and meet some people there as well. Woo, I better get some sleep.

Getting cozy with Ele (Natalie's stuffed elephant friend)
Last night was much better. The meeting with the consultant pointed out that supplementing Natalie's feedings with formula would be a good idea. She really chugs those down and helps put her to sleep.
Oddly enough, our second baby, the garden, was what woke us up today at 4am with a whining sound. I'm working on "automating" the watering and apparently still have some details to work out.
Natalie had her first meeting with the pediatrician today. Everything seemed to go pretty well. We are going to meet with them briefly next week to do a weight check to make sure everything is on track.
The nursery chair arrived today as well; looks great. Now just need the correct size curtains and the room will be finished.
Gramma DesVeaux stopped by for a visit as well today.

We're home!
I neglected to mention that we brought Natalie home on Wednesday afternoon. I'm pretty sure she said she loves her room.
Wednesday night was a tough start at home; got a few hours of sleep. Today, we decided to go in to meet with a specialist to make sure she was feeding properly. She lost a little more weight than ideal, so they gave us a few techniques to try out. Seemed to work a little better today. Natalie must think we need more practice changing diapers, as she keeps plugging away at her tally.
Besides that, had a few good periods of sleep throughout the day.
Hopefully tonight will be a little better...

Feedings and Poops
Natalie decided we needed to figure out this whole baby thing quickly; her feeding and diaper log is already loaded (as are her diapers). The nursing staff here put a positive spin on it all and said that is a good sign. So, I guess I'm happy I'm quickly learning the in's-and-out's of changing a diaper.

Final Week!
It is amazing that this is the week!
For those of you that don't know (and that are actually following this blog) due to concerns earlier in the pregnancy, the doctors did not want the pregnancy to go past the due date. So, assuming Megan doesn't go into labor before then, we will be going to the hospital on Friday, May 20th, and Megan will be induced. That still doesn't necessarily mean everything will be quick, but hopefully things progress fairly quickly. Megan's doctor visit today showed that she has progressed on her own very well and she could really go into labor anytime this week.
We are both very anxious; so many emotions going on.
